In the residence halls:

Each residence hall is supervised by a professional staff member.  Each of these staff members, called Community Coordinators (CCs), have an office and an apartment in their area of supervision.  Assistant Community Coordinators (ACCs) are part-time staff working on their graduate degrees at the university, and they help the Community Coordinators in supervision of the buildings, supervision of the RA staff, and working with students in their area.

Any time that a student has a problem, he or she is welcome to contact or stop into the office of their CC or ACC.  Students often come and see our staff for the following types of reasons:

  • Questions about where something is located on campus
  • Questions about the best person to talk to about a problem (academic advisor, main office for the college, professor, etc.)
  • Referrals to an office for help (Counseling Center, Financial Aid, Tutor Program, etc.)
  • Concerns about academics (in need of tutoring, concerns about a course load being too much, questions about a major/minor, etc.)
  • Concerns about roommate or community situations (not getting along with a roommate or concern for a friend/fellow student)
  • If something is wrong (something is broken in the room, a crime needs to be reported, etc.)

The contact information for residence hall staff is listed below can be found on the Residence Life website.
