Fogler Library
The library’s façade offers interesting architectural features — from its lights, balcony and upper windows, and main doors on the terraced entrance to the three decorative seals and two information plaques. With its collections, services, staff and computer workshops, Fogler is the academic heart of campus and the state’s largest library. The Presidents’ Room is lined with portraits of UMaine presidents. The library’s namesake was Raymond H. Fogler, a 1915 alum and president of the University of Maine Board of Trustees, 1957–63.
