Bennett Hall
Bennett Hall and the Memorial Gym are a bit of a postscript. Although neither is actually on the Mall, by visiting them, you will complete the circle begun at the Black Bear Statue. As you cross Long Road from Boardman Hall and enter Gym Drive, enjoy the cedar and spruce, and note the west façade of Bennett Hall, built in the 1950s and home of the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Above the entrance is the name of the long-term Physics Department member after whom the building is named, Clarence E. Bennett.
