Graduate Certificates

A graduate certificate from the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development is an excellent way to build skills and knowledge as you advance in your career. All of our certificate programs are 100% online, and consist of anywhere between 9 and 15 credit hours (3-5 classes), making them a perfect option for working professionals. Whether you’re hoping to develop as a leader within your school or become better versed in topics such as trauma-informed practices, assessment and instruction to support diversity and foster inclusiveness, or technology-supported learning, we have a variety of options to suit your needs. A graduate certificate is also a good way to get started on a master’s degree in an area such as Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction, Special Education or Instructional Technology. In fact, many of our teacher education master’s programs include concentrations that allow students to earn a graduate certificate as well.
