University of Maine professor of higher education Elizabeth Allan spoke to the Ohio Capital Journal for an article about Ohio universities issuing a new report on hazing. “When students realize or recognize that they have been hazed, there’s a lot of fear about reporting. Sometimes students might not recognize what’s happened as hazing until later, when they gain a better understanding about hazing,” Allan said.
