Upward Bound

Target School Information

Each grant cycle, Upward Bound works with community partners to determine target schools. Target schools are within the Penobscot, Hancock, and Piscataquis counties, with the exception of one school in Cumberland county. Upward Bound participants are recruited solely at their target school, and stay with the program up until the date of their high school graduation. 

Upward Bound staff will visit each school once every two weeks to meet with students. Each year, these visit schedules will be shared with students and staff at the appropriate school.
