Math Lab
You can visit the Math lab to study and work on your mathematics assignments. A staff member will be on hand to offer guidance. No appointment is necessary, just drop by any time the Math Lab is open.
For this semester (Fall 2022), the lab is mostly in-person in Neville 120, but there are two virtual drop-in hours at the end of Tuesday and Thursday as well.
Hours: Open 5 days per week, but the hours vary. See the updated Spring Schedule.
To virtually drop in, click THIS LINK. As you join, in a separate browser tab, you can open the Math Lab’s collaborative virtual whiteboard (on Limnu). If you don’t have a Limnu account, feel free to either make one or access the whiteboard as a guest by selecting the appropriate option at the bottom of the login prompt page. Once connected in Zoom, communicate with the instructor directly or use the chat feature to express the type of work on which you’re looking for help or collaboration. Following this, the instructor will either help you directly, or place you in “breakout room” with other students in the same class. Find your work partners’ location on the Limnu whiteboard, so you can communicate with teammates and write out your ideas for others to see.
NOTE: The Tutor Program may also offer tutoring for various mathematics courses.
