Professor Ramesh Gupta honored with special volume
A special volume of the journal Communications in Statistics – Theory and Methods has appeared in honor of Professor Ramesh Gupta for his influential work in the areas of Distribution Theory and Statistical Methods for Lifetime Data. Dr. Gupta is an elected Fellow of the American Statistical Association, and has served as Editor or Associate Editor for 13 journals. He has published 190 papers with more than 60 collaborators, and continues to bring great distinction to the Department of Mathematics & Statistics. Dr. Gupta has been Professor of Statistics at the University of Maine since 1972.
