Snow Fall Park, West Paris
Maine An EncyclopediaSnow Falls Gorge, West Paris

West Paris was only incorporated in 1957, when it split from neighboring Paris to form a separate town, and has been growing in population ever since. Before that time, the area was largely settled by Finnish immigrants, and it grew with agriculture – mostly orchards and pasturage – and industry, supported by the coming of railroad lines. West Paris was home to famed Maine humorist Joe Perham.
