Granite Post and MassLive.com sourced a U.S. Department of Agriculture blog post from Jason Lilley, University of Maine Cooperative Extension associate professor in sustainable agriculture and a maple industry educator, from March 2023. Lilley said climate change is causing the maple sugaring season to start earlier.
