New Media is hiring a tenure-track professor

Join the University of Maine’s innovative New Media program! We’re seeking a dynamic, tenure-track Assistant Professor with a passion for creativity and collaboration.

Starting either September 3, 2024, or January 1, 2024, the successful candidate will specialize in areas like user experience design, augmented reality, or other aspects of computational media and is encouraged to explore cutting-edge approaches such as AI applications. A strong record in research or creative practice and a desire to impact the world are essential.

The role involves effective teaching, original research and/or creative activity, curriculum development in new media design, mentoring undergraduates, and promoting inclusive excellence.
