You like math, but are unsure about taking MAT126…
Many students don’t have enough time in their schedules to take MAT 126, even if they would otherwise like to, especially if they have to pass MAT 122 first. Other students just aren’t interested in taking it. We have developed MAT 116 & MAT 117 specifically for students in life & social sciences, as well as business. It offers people a less technical exposure to calculus. This is a great sequence for any student who enjoys mathematics but doesn’t want to take on the main calculus sequence. You only need Prerequisite B to take MAT 116. This option allows you to see a conceptualized version of our Calculus I/II without the technical information STEM students require, and it’s a great alternative to consider.
