Staff Spotlight: Emily Tomack
Maine Bound may be closed but we’re still stoked about our awesome staff and want to continue to show off how great they are! Case in point with our Maine Bound staffer Emily Tomak. Emily is a junior studying Ecology and Environmental Science with a Pre-Med Minor. This is Emily’s second year working at Maine Bound. She discovered Maine Bound by going on one of our OPTIONS trips and fell in love with the program. Emily knew she wanted to pursue her interest in the outdoors and the Maine Bound Program was a perfect way to do that. Her favorite part about Maine Bound is the supportive community it creates on our campus.
In her free time Emily enjoys music, especially performing. She plays a variety of instruments but mainly sings. A fun fact about Emily is that she is classically trained invocal performance, but the style she likes to sing is mostly rock. After graduating, Emily plans to take a few years to work seasonal jobs and explore, she plans on potentially doing a thru hike but just wants to go with the flow. She later plans on continuing her education by going to medical school.
