Colvin Hall

Welcome to Colvin Hall

Colvin Hall is named after Caroline Colvin, the first female head of a major university department in the nation. She headed the History Department at the University of Maine from 1906–1932, and was among the first women in the country to hold a PhD.

Located on the southwest side of campus, Colvin Hall is a three-minute walk from York Dining. Colvin is an Honors Department residence made up of four-person suites with a central common room. There are also limited three-person suites featuring a single room, central common room, and double room.
