Housing Deposit

Don’t forget to pay your Housing Deposit!

All new, incoming first-year and transfer students who apply for University of Maine Housing are required to pay a $75.00 Housing Deposit. Follow the steps below to secure your on-campus housing today.

PLEASE NOTE: Students enrolled in the Intensive English Institute are exempt from having to pay the housing deposit.

Steps to pay your UMaine Housing Deposit:

1. In your browser, navigate to mycampus.maine.edu and log in using your UMS credentials.

2. On your LaunchPad, click on “Student Center”.

3. On your Student Center sidebar, select “Financials.

4. Under “Financials”, select “View/Pay Bills”.

5. In the menu bar, select “Deposits”.

6. Navigate to “Select a Term” and choose “Spring 2025” from the dropdown menu.
You will then be able to make your Housing Deposit payment.
