Puhlman talks to WalletHub about family-friendly qualities of states

WalletHub featured Daniel Puhlman, assistant professor of family studies in the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development, as an expert on factors that attract families to live in certain states, and how those factors impact the well-being of families and child development. Puhlman said families have many factors to consider when choosing a place to settle, but each family will have different ones that are most important to them and should decide based on those. States also have different impacts on children and families, such as differences in public education and taxes, and in order to attract families states may implement policies to support them.
