University Park

Housing for students with families (spouse, partner, and/or children) is available at University Park Family Housing. University Park is located in Old Town, one mile from the center of campus and adjacent to the wooded bike paths that link the campus with Old Town. Often referred to as UPark, this housing community offers 48 one-bedroom units and 46 two-bedroom units. To meet University Park eligibility requirements, students must be registered for at least 6 undergraduate or 3 graduate credit hours. Faculty and staff must show proof of their full-time employment status with the University.

Apartment sizes and rates

The following prices go into effect July 1, 2023:

  • One-bedroom apartments at $881.00 per month, maximum 3 occupants
  • Two-bedroom apartments at $1010.00 per month, designated for families with 1 or more children, maximum 4 occupants

Miscellaneous Information

  • Furniture and draperies not included
  • Pets are not allowed, with the exception of small fish in up to 10 gallon tank
  • A minimum lease period or higher rental rate may be required for occupancy of less than 9 months
  • All applicants are placed on a waiting list for an apartment at University Park, and are assigned as apartments become available
