Hanover

Welcome to Hanover!

Hanover was first settled around the time of American Independence and incorporated as a town in 1843. The town, a narrow area alongside the Androscoggin River, flourished due to its good soil for agriculture and ample water power for mills, and in recent decades these industries have been replaced by tourism.
