MSW Students go to State House
Several MSW Students go to Augusta to attend Social Work Day at the State House
Each year hundreds of social work practitioners and students come to the State House in Augusta for Social Work Day. For the past few years, this day has been organized by Representative Lori Gramlich. BSW and MSW from the UMaine School of Social Work always participate in this exciting day and that was true this year as well, on March 11, 2020. Each year activities include listening to speakers, participating in mock hearings, talking to legislators, attending public hearings, and touring the beautiful and historic building.
