The Director of Social Work

Greater Portland Health (GPH) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that was established in 2009 to provide high-quality patient-centered health care to individuals and families in the Portland community, regardless of ability to pay. Now with nine locations across Portland and South Portland, Greater Portland Health partners with specialists, hospitals, pharmacies and other area providers to deliver accessible, affordable and culturally sensitive care to those in need. The Director of Social Work is a key member of the leadership team, leading the overall vision for social work services within the organization. This position provides social work oversight, expertise, and leadership to ensure high quality and cost effective integrated behavioral health services. The Director of Social Work supervises all of the social worker, community health worker and peer support specialist roles within the organization. The Director of Social Work develops and implements quality mental health, substance use, case management, and peer support programs. Responsibilities also include strategy, development and implementation of social work programs that include collaboration with strategic community partners.
Supervises: Behavioral Health Providers, Community Health Workers, and Peer Support staff
REQUIREMENTS: Masters in Social Work, LCSW, Leadership Experience
