Location:South Portland, ME Organization: Maine Behavioral Healthcare Full/Part Time: FT, 40 hours About the CADD Day Treatment Program The  CADD Day Treatment Program provides integrated, intensive services for children and adolescents with autism or other developmental disorders with emotional or behavioral challenges that are not succeeding in their current school settings. Our goal is to provide an intensive treatment program that prepares a child to return to a less restrictive school setting. Our expert team of clinicians and educators work with both the child and family to stabilize behaviors and enhance educational functioning in school and at home.Position Summary The CADD Day Treatment Social Worker is a member of the multi-disciplinary team. His/her role includes providing direct treatment to students and their families, participating in weekly multi-disciplinary clinical team meetings, coordinating care with external providers, and helping students transfer their newly acquired skills from school to home. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMaster’s degree in Social Work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work EducationKnowledge of social work theories, therapies and techniques, as used in individual, family and group treatment, as well principles of social welfareExperience with children with autism and/or intellectual disability2+ years of work experience in a mental health settingProficiency in psychosocial assessment and treatment and considerable knowledge of community resources and agencies and how to use them in resolving complex problems related to health, illness and disabilityFamiliarity with the delivery of school-based servicesLicensure by the Maine State Board of Social Worker Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred, Licensure by the Maine State Board of Social Worker Licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker –Clinical Conditional (LMSW-cc) consideredFacility with CBT, TF-CBT and other evidence-based modalities preferredFacility with social skills teaching and applied behavior analysis strategies preferredTo apply for this position, please click here: https://www.careersatmainehealth.org/job/8604210/social-worker-cadd-center-for-autism-and-developmental-disorders-/#external-appl
