BSW Juniors – Service Learning at the Wellspring Race for Recovery
Kudos to the BSW Juniors who participated in the Wellspring, Inc. Race for Recovery fundraiser on September 16th. Wellspring, Inc. provides much-needed substance abuse and mental health services. Students are enrolled in the Junior Year Field Experience class which introduces them to a variety of health and human service agencies and services. Along with Nancy Kelly, Field Education Director and Katrina Duncan (BSW Graduate, current MSW and Graduate Teaching Assistant), students provided hands-on support to the Race organizers.
