Annis receives NSF funding to preserve fungal collection
NSF News Release, Aug. 20, 2015 – Professor of Mycology Seanna Annis has received funding from the National Science Foundation’s ADBC program (Advancing Digitization of Biodiversity Collections) to support the preservation and cataloging of mycological samples in UMaine’s collection. Digitizing collections will support development of a rich data base to be used by scholars and researchers around the world to study biodiversity and the effects of climate change.
