Hartman awards honor outstanding women
UMaine News Release, March 4, 2015 – The 29th annual Maryann Hartman awards will be presented to four outstanding Maine women on March 24 at the Buchanan Alumni House. This years’ winners, Maria Girouard, Deborah Thompson, and Florence Reed will be honored for their work in preserving Native American cultural traditions, for documenting the architectural history of the city of Bangor, and for establishing Sustainable Harvest International which has connected Maine to the global Community.
