Hargest notes interest in gardening remains high in Press Herald story
Pamela Hargest, a University of Maine Cooperative Extension horticulture professional, spoke with the Portland Press Herald about the continued growth of interest in home gardening, which jumped significantly during the pandemic. According to Hargest, as of June 26, Cumberland County Extension staff have already received as many inquiries from home gardeners as they did last year through Oct. 1.
