Translations, Publications, and Research

  • Translated letters from the Bancroft Collection of originals written by German officers during the American Revolution. Translations now in the Bancroft Collection of the New York Public Library.
  • Short story “Margaretha” based on research published in “A Quiet Blue Wheel”, D. M. Fitzpatrick, editor.
  • Translated from German to English the play “Der Hessische Officier in Amerika” (“The Hessian Officer in America) originally published in 1783. The play was performed in 2011.
  • Research on “Hessians” and Loyalists in Maine
