2016 Math Contest Winners
The Annual University of Maine Mathematics Contest took place in November. The contest consisted of challenging calculus problems, to be completed over one weekend. 23 students participated. The winners for 2016 are:
Calculus 1:
1st Prize ($150): Ethan Plourde
2nd Prize ($100): Evangeline Jerome
3rd Prize ($50 each): Spencer Goulette and Ayala Cnaan.
Calculus II:
1st prize ($150): Dante Castro
2nd prize was not awarded
3rd prize ($50): Anna Tyrina.
