2013 calculus contest winners
Annual Mathematics Competition 2013-2014
All students of Calculus I and II (MAT 126-127) were invited to participate in this year’s Mathematics Contest. The test consisted of three challenging calculus problems, to be solved over one weekend.
The results are in, and the following cash awards were given:
Calculus I (19 participants)
First Prize winner, $150: Sam Lounder
Second Prize winner, $100 each: Donald Bistri
Third Prize winners, $50 each: Izundu Ngwu
Honorable mention: Justin Ladner, Diana Inkova, Yundi Zhang.
Calculus II (13 participants)
First Prize, $150: Oleg Wing
Second Prize: No winner
Third Prize winners, $40 each: William Johnson, Jacob Diamanti, Aurora Sullivan, Hunter Belanger
