Please check the eligibility tab on the Grants homepage to ensure you are eligible to apply for a GSG grant. Your department representative must have attended at least 75% of all GSG general meetings for the previous semester for your department to be eligible for grant funding.
*The Grants Officer will accept formal typed, dated, and signed petitions of extenuating circumstances regarding departments not meeting the attendance requirements. These petitions must be received by 5:00 pm on Friday, January 24th, 2025. If you have further questions please contact the GSG Grants Officer (gsg.grants@maine.edu).
*Please note that applicants for reimbursement of expenses incurred in the semester(s) prior to the current grants cycle are required to submit an expense report with original receipts. These should be submitted as one PDF in an email to the grants officers (gsg.grants@maine.edu) before the grant application deadline for your application to be processed.

Expense Reports
All students who receive funding are required to submit an expense report containing all original receipts. Instructions for what to include in expense reports can be found in the individual grants instructions above. An example of an expense report cover letter can be found here.
