After-school French classes
French after-school program for K-5
Le Club Français
Franco American Programs runs an after-school French program for children in grades K-5. It is designed for those with no exposure to French and for those with some experience in the language. Our aim is to make learning French fun in a safe, after-school environment. We also seek to connect French language learners with heritage language speakers in our area.
The classes are organized by ability, and students are taught by French and Education college students under the supervision of Susan Pinette and Lisa Michaud.
We hold class on Wednesdays afterschool until 5pm at the Franco-American Centre.
Classes will begin on Wednesday February 5 and end on March 12 (6 weeks of classes). We will run a second session after spring break (March 26 – April 30; 6 weeks of classes) for those who might be interested in joining us again.
HOW: Parents can drop off their children at the Franco-American Centre, Crossland Hall. (Across from the Alfond)
WHEN: Grades K-5 Wednesdays
