UMaine launches new master’s program in athletic training

The University of Maine’s College of Education and Human Development is now offering a Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) degree that prepares students to join the growing allied health profession providing acute care, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation, as well as prevention from injuries and illness.

College of Education and Human Development announces annual student, faculty-staff awards

Miranda Snyder of Brimfield, Massachusetts, a secondary education major with a concentration in English, is the 2021 Outstanding Graduating Student in the College of Education and Human Development. The college also honored Blanca Millan-Modia of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, a kinesiology and physical education major with a concentration in exercise science, as this year’s Outstanding Graduating International Student, and Jamie Jones of Bangor, Maine, a child development and family relations major with a concentration in early childhood education, with the Dean’s Award.
