Our enhanced tours showcase the student experience in the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development.
Whether you’ve already been accepted to one of our programs or are still considering a major in education, human development or kinesiology, join us for a walking tour to discover what it means to be a part of our community. Primary stops include Lengyel, Merrill and Shibles Halls, where you can see some of the classrooms and lab facilities where our active and hands-on learning and teaching take place.
Other highlights include:
- Meet with faculty and staff
- Q&A with our Advising Center team
- Maine Bound Adventure Center
- Scholarship and research opportunities
- The UMaine Honors College
- Learn about teacher candidacy and field experiences
- Enjoy a coffee/tea reception with the dean and other members of the college community
Tours take place on select Fridays from 2-4:30 p.m. on the University of Maine campus. Check-in starts at 1:30 p.m. at Lengyel Hall.
Parents and guardians of prospective students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
