Flanagan leads Council for Learning Disabilities international conference
University of Maine assistant professor of special education Sara Flanagan led the Council for Learning Disabilities’ (CLD) 45th international conference in Denver, October 12-13. Flanagan, who is president-elect of the council’s executive committee, also presented at the conference as part of a panel on writing characteristics in upper elementary and middle school students with high incidence disabilities and on a roundtable on teachers’ knowledge of dyslexia.
