Brief Biography: I am from Southern California. I became interested in ecology while abroad in Australia, wading through seagrass beds. My Independent study on intertidal purple sea urchins along Monterey Bay fueled my interest in ecological modeling and community dynamics. In my free time, you can find me entranced by a rock or mushroom, free diving, or reading.

Current Research: My research explores phenological sensitivities in response to climate change, using data from herbaria, the National Ecological Observatory Network, and the National Phenological Network. I will be exploring how spatial and temporal scales influence inferences from models of phenology and work towards near-term forecasts of changes in flowering onset of plants.
