Luncheon Panel – A Conversation with Millenials on Faith, Religion, Spirituality and Culture

Come enjoy a free luncheon and multifaith panel discussion.  Wed Nov 16th 11:30-1pm at the Wilson Center. 

Topic: “A Conversation with Millennials on Faith, Religion, Spirituality and Culture” Featuring a panel of Millennials who will address a series of questions such as the following:

  1. How do you identify yourself? (Use any descriptors you choose) Give us a bit of an autobiography.
  2. What faith, religion, spirituality or lack thereof did you grow up with? What are you now?
  3. How important is the process of exploring faith, religion, and spirituality to you? How do you go about such an exploration?
  4. What role(s) do you think culture plays in faith, religion, and spirituality? Personally, locally, nationally and internationally?
  5. What do you see as the role of religion in social justice work?
  6. Are there any religious and/or spiritual texts that are important to you? If so, why?
  7. How important is an actual place of worship to you?
  8. What does it mean to you to be a “millennial?” What should nonmillennials know about your generation?
  9. Audience questions and participation
