All UMaine students are invited to us at the Wilson Center on Aug 31st as we celebrate our return (or our first time arrival) to UMaine with a Unitarian-inspired Water Ceremony!
As usual, there will be lots of great, home-cooked food for dinner (vegetarian and vegan options provided) and lots of good company. There will also be lots and lots of water and a chance to make some new friends
If you have a small vial of water you want to bring from a special place you visited this summer,that is great. Otherwise, just bring a memory of that water. There will be plenty of pitchers of symbolic water to share. Feel free to bring along any textbooks, laptops, or other study devices you may own well. We will use the water at the end of our ceremony for a “blessing of the books and brains.”
