Due to today’s storm, the Black Bear Exchange will be closing at 1:00 pm.  We will be open 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.  We will be open again on Monday, February 12 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm.

Last week, we received donations from 3 major food drives at the BBE.  The Classified Employees Advisory Council and the Professional Employees Advisory Council held a food drive at the President’s Annual Holiday Luncheon.  They collected $248 and many boxes of food.  Then on Thursday, Brian Perkins’ FSN101 class held their extra credit food drive.  […]

UMaine students put in a lot of hours helping people for Thanksgiving.  Multiple students groups went to  Food AND Medicine in Brewer to help with their Solidarity Harvest.  Students packed boxes with food items for thousands of families in the area.  Student organizations donated turkeys to the Free the Z turkey drive, and student organizations […]
