Food Drive Success!
Last week, we received donations from 3 major food drives at the BBE. The Classified Employees Advisory Council and the Professional Employees Advisory Council held a food drive at the President’s Annual Holiday Luncheon. They collected $248 and many boxes of food. Then on Thursday, Brian Perkins’ FSN101 class held their extra credit food drive. Professor Perkins offers a few extra credit points for non-perishable items donated. They brought in nearly 600 pounds of food! Additionally the Fogler Library staff did a small food drive, and the Student Records staff donated $25! We are so blessed to have the help of our whole campus throughout the year, and this is just amazing. We are so grateful to everyone for helping us to take care of those in need in our campus community.
