    • Schoodic Point provides an opportunity for visitors to experience the breathtaking views of Maine’s coastline and crashing waves, for which the area has come to be known as a destination. Meditating on Maine’s coast is a great way to let nature sweep all of your worries.

    • Moore Auditorium is the Schoodic Institute’s event-hosting center. Here, there are many events that span a number of subjects, specializing in the environment. Guest speakers come to inspire awareness and environmental stewardship!

    • The Schoodic Institute is an educational organization that works alongside Acadia National Park in performing research in regard to the local ecosystems and the environment that hosts them. The Institute has many resources for the public, and holds events in the Moore Auditorium.

    • The Schoodic Marine Center is an initiative by the Schoodic Institute to promote access to waterways in the region. Not only do they operate the pier, but there are also educational exhibits to make it a learning experience. On top of that, there are also facilities like laundry machines and showers for people visiting the region; there is even a food cart!

    • One of the oldest golf courses in the United States, Grindstone Neck Golf Course hosts stunning views of the bay and the surrounding islands and coastlines. Located just west of Winter Harbor’s main village, the golf course welcomes visitors both by land and by sea. They are open every day of the week!
