Hackerspace

The Hackerspace is UMaine’s gateway to digital makerspaces. It is a place for campus community members to explore technologies and tools that are expanding into our daily lives. The University envisions the Hackerspace as an environment in which all students, no matter their prior experience or skill level, can begin to explore new ways of making and thinking. Working alone, in teams, or as part of a course, students can develop new approaches to old tasks. They can try their hands at 3D printing, sewing (including wearable tech), recording a jingle, designing and cutting vinyl, scanning an object in 3D, and much more.

Multicultural Student Life
