Organized by the Center for Student Involvement and students and staff from around the University, UMaine’s Winter Carnival offers something for everyone! Winter Carnival is February 21st – 25th 2022. The theme is Snow Wars! STAY TUNED FOR MORE INFO!

All Week Long

Yoda Scavenger Hunt
Where: Entire Campus
When: New clues are released each day on Campus Groups
What:  Hidden around campus tokens will be. A prize will be given to those that return tokens to the office. May the force be with you!

Social Media Contest
Where: Instagram
When: All week long
What: Take a picture with the Black Bear Statue for a chance to win a pair of Bean Boots

Tuesday

Kick-Off Bonfire 
Where: Mall
When: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
What: Join us for a bonfire, a s’mores bar, and a hot cocoa bar!

Wednesday

Star Wars, Service & Crafts
Where: Lown & Bumps Room, Memorial Union
When:  11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
What: Come make crafts for yourself and others!

Thursday

Star Wars Trivia
Where: Bears Den Pub (Union)
When:  8-10 p.m.
What: Join us young padawans for trivia challenges in the Pub! May the Facts be with you!

Friday

Go Blue Friday & Small Business Fair
Where: Bangor Room
When: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
What: Support local businesses run by students, staff, and more. Make sure to wear blue to show off your UMaine pride, and you might even get to take a picture with Bananas! Register for your small business here!

FYE Block Party & Laser Tag
Where: Rec Center
When: 8- 10 p.m.
What: Let’s celebrate Winter Carnival with music, mocktails, laser tag and more! Stay tuned for more info!

Saturday

Casino Night
Where: North Pod (Memorial Union)
When: 8 – 11 p.m.
What: Campus Activities Board will be bringing the high stakes for this casino night! Earn a chance to win big and to walk away with prizes!
