Bell, Klein, and Cotton represent SOE and NSFA at Hall of Flags Event

Professor Kathleen Bell, Associate Professor Sharon Klein, and Graduate Student Researcher Ben Cotton recently represented the School of Economics (SOE) and College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, & Agriculture (NSFA) at the Maine State House in Augusta. The Hall of Flags Event, which took place on Thursday, March 23rd, celebrated the contributions of NSFA, the Maine Agricultural and Forest Experiment Station, and Cooperative Extension to Maine. Faculty and students from multiple departments shared insights and updates on a range of research projects and academic and workforce development programs. Bell, Klein, and Cotton engaged with legislators and other attendees to share insights about climate and economic resilience and to obtain suggestions for future research that could help Maine communities.
