SOE grad student to work at the University of Chicago

Grad student Ariel Listo will be joining the Becker Friedman Institute at the University of Chicago as a Research Professional for the Initiative on Chicago Experiments. Pre-doctoral research professionals work along senior and junior faculty, and post-doctoral and graduate researchers employing a field experiment approach to explore a wide range of key social and policy issues. Four major areas of study of the initiative include education, philanthropy, voting behavior and the environment. The initiative is led by John List, the Kennetch C. Griffin Distinguished Service Professor in Economics and Chairman of the Department of Economics at the University of Chicago, and affiliated scholars such as Michael Greenstone, Steve Levitt, Richard Thaler, among many others. He plans on being a Research Professional at Chicago for two years before continuing towards a PhD program in Economics.
