Dr. Scobie has served in both administrative and clinical leadership roles, including as the Chief Clinical Officer, within a psychiatric hospital setting and has extensive experience in the treatment of youth and adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions. He is currently involved in several research projects investigating the use of telepsychiatry in the treatment of child and adolescent inpatients, and the socio-demographic and clinical characteristics of bath salt users in central Maine. Dr. Scobie teaches courses in psychopathology and Substance Abuse at the School of Social Work.
