No prior experience in a forensic setting required as we feel having a strong clinical foundation is what’s most important. The days/hours of the positions can be somewhat flexible but are 40-hours weekly. Weekly supervision and training are available. Compensation is competitive. Mid-Coast – Warren

Are you interested in working with individuals in an intensive psychiatric setting where you can engage in meaningful clinical work and make a real impact? The Wellpath Behavioral Health Team at the Intensive Mental Health Unit at Maine State Prison in mid-coast Maine (Warren) is looking for a thoughtful, engaging, and devoted clinician to provide mental health treatment to those incarcerated on a psychiatric unit. Our team is committed to meeting the intensive mental health needs of individuals both sentenced and awaiting sentencing who require extra support and treatment as opposed to simple stabilization.

Greater Portland Area – Windham

The Wellpath Behavioral Health Team at the Maine Correctional Center in Windham is looking for a trauma-responsive clinician to provide assessment, crisis management, and therapy services to resident’s just entering the DOC system. The opening in Windham will be a great fit for a clinician interested in both short-term stabilization as well as long-term in-depth processing. The role allows for a clinician to have a balance of clinical interviewing/evaluation, individual treatment, and group therapy. The team in Windham values clinically rich discussions and regularly spends time collaboratively reflecting and examining effective interventions.

Greater Portland Area – South Portland

Do you have a passion for working with justice-involved youth? Wellpath Mental Health Professionals provide individual and group therapy, crisis services, and other clinical activities to residents currently residing at Long Creek Youth Development Center. Our team is motivated, and we are looking for someone eager to make a difference. The clinical role in South Portland is a good match for individuals who are patient, flexible, and willing to actively listen and support those with a high level of clinical need. The primary focus for the clinician in this role will be to aid youth in successfully reintegrating into the community and assisting with continuity of care.
