Wellpath Mental Health Professional
Are you searching for meaningful clinical work where you can make a real impact? The Wellpath Behavioral Health Team at the Maine Correctional Center/Women’s Re-entry Center in Windham is looking for a thoughtful, engaging, and devoted clinician to provide mental health and/or substance use services to those incarcerated. Our team is committed to reducing violence, contributing to overall mental wellness, and offering best practice services to those who have been underserved and disadvantaged. The Maine DOC is moving in a strengths-based, reinforcement-based direction and is on the cutting edge of correctional care in the country.
Wellpath Mental Health Professionals provide individual and group therapy, crisis services, and other clinical activities to residents. Weekly supervision and training is available. Our team is motivated and we are looking for someone eager to make a difference. No prior experience in a forensic setting required as we feel having a strong clinical foundation is what’s most important. The hours of the position can be somewhat flexible but are generally 40-hours weekly, M-F from 8-4. Compensation is competitive. If interested, please send your resume/CV to Brooke Berard, Psy.D., Director of Behavioral Health at BBerard@wellpath.us.
