Crossroads, a highly respected nonprofit addiction and behavioral health treatment provider, is seeking an experienced manager to lead our Admissions department. Our behavioral health and addiction treatment programs help women and men remember who they wanted to be.The Admission Manager is responsible for overseeing the Admissions team and clinical admissions process for all clients who enter our programs. Helping clients navigate their path to recovery, our admissions department works closely with our multidisciplinary teams in identifying the right program to meet each client’s individual needs.
Responsibilities include:
▪Providing leadership, training,and oversight to the Admissions Department and ensuring all inquiries from potential clients, family members and referral sources are responded to in a respectful and timely manner.
▪Ensures prospective clients are scheduled for level of care assessments for residential and outpatient programs.
▪Demonstrating knowledge of addiction
▪Conducting level of care assessments, as needed and directed by Chief Marketing and Development Officer, utilizing ASAM criteria for review and signature of supervisor if required.
▪Collecting and reviewing collateral data on prospective clients for appropriateness for treatment.
▪Maintaining through flow of communication among all internal and external partners.
▪Overseeing waiting lists for all prospective residential, IOP and outpatient clients.
▪Assisting Admissions Specialists in making appropriate contacts for detoxification, medical, and/or psychiatric services
▪Prioritizes access to treatment in a manner that is supportive of client, agency,and regulatory requirements.▪Overseeing the process of benefit verification and ensures insurance and financial responsibility for treatment is communicated accurately with client and/or family.
Reviews all necessary information for utilization review processes to ensure that client benefits are maximized
Participates in case consultation with clinical and milieu staff as needed in order to fully understand client history
▪Maintaining appropriate documentation of all client–related interactions both internally and externally.
▪Providing a safe and welcoming environment for prospective clients.▪Communicating effectively verbally and in writing with internal and external systems in a positive, responsive, professional manner.▪Maintains agency policies and procedures including client confidentiality.
▪Supports program occupancy goals and treatment completion goals in accordance with Crossroads Strategic Plan.
▪Supports the values and commitments of the organization.
Desired Qualifications:
1.Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work;Bachelor’s Degree in health–related field/social work
2.Licensure: LCSW or LCSW–CC, LADC, CADC
3.Experience: Minimum of two years of previous experience in behavioral health with one year of that in substance use or co–occurring disorders.
4.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational and computer skills are required.
