Looking to become part of a multidisciplinary team focused on providing holistic care to patients? Interested in bridging together medical care and behavioral health care? Consider a role as an integrated behavioral health clinician within a primary care setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join an expanding team of behavioral health clinicians in the medical setting. The position is located at Franklin Health Farmington Family Practice which offers complete medical and mental health care to adults and children. This is a full-time, 40 hours each week position and comes with a competitive salary with benefits.

Your role would include providing screening, assessments, and focused treatment to patients of the practice. Treatment structure includes individual and family work. There is also a component of the work which involves linking to additional services and supports, providing “curbside” consultation to providers. Persons interested in this position must be comfortable working with all age groups.

This work is enhanced by being part of a medical team with solid experience in integrated work, in addition to collaborative work with psychiatrists and other integrated clinicians in the MaineHealth system. Individual supervision, group supervision, and quarterly trainings are added benefits of this position. If you are hired for this position, you may qualify for the loan repayment program through NHSC.

Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Clinician for Franklin Health Farmington Family Practice is responsible for performing direct service delivery in the primary care service office practice setting. Works collaboratively as a member of the patient’s primary care team to facilitate care for patients needing behavioral health services. It involves working with individuals and families intervening in a wide spectrum of health and mental health issues. Responsibilities include short term outpatient treatment for individuals seeking mental health counseling.

Qualifications:

·        Education: Documented completion of an accredited Masters of Social Work Program.

·        License/Certifications: Licensed by the State of Maine for clinical practice (LCSW).

·        Experience: At least 2 years of clinical practice in an outpatient setting.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff

·        Skill in time management, problem-solving, multitasking, prioritizing and medical care coordination

·        Ability to respond the changing workload based on patient census

·        Ability to maintain professional manner even under stressful situations

·        Proficient computer skills
