Outpatient Therapist Position

New Approaches is looking to hire a highly skilled and motivated, compassionate LCSW to work as a
psychotherapist for adult clients in our small but mighty group practice based in Falmouth, Maine.
Join a top-notch team of 5 other LCSWs who are passionate about our work, but are also committed to our own balance and well-being and creating a supportive work culture.
New Approaches provides employment (not a contract-position) and full support around all billing. You focus on your client work and clinical development, and almost no time and energy on the hassles of insurance or other administrative burdens.
At New Approaches, we are serious about promoting and supporting health and well-being in our clients, in our workplaces, and in our society. We believe serving our adult client base creates a ripple-effect of positive change not just for our clients, but often for their families, workplaces, and communities as well.  Good therapy, we have experienced, can lead to clients who help create a happier, more just society.
Are you interested in dreaming big and doing good work? New Approaches could be the perfect place for you.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has:
●An LCSW license in Maine
●Familiarity with teletherapy and a willingness to make this an ongoing part of their practice
●A willingness to both work out of our Falmouth office and from home (but we will consider any
Maine location for the right candidate)
●Advanced skills training(s) or certificates in areas such as EMDR or couples work
●A proven track record of exceptional clinical skills
●Strong team-work and the ability to actively participate in building a healthy work culture through
speaking up, voicing support, offering observations, informal mentoring/peer support, and engaging in helpful conversation about mission and values
●A willingness to start with 10-15 clients weekly and build up to a full-time caseload (but will
consider part-time only for the right candidate)
●Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently
●The ability to utilize constructive feedback and seek continued growth
●The ability to easily and appropriately identify when they need support and ask for it
●Impeccable boundaries
New Approaches offers a competitive wage, paid training, paid in-house supervision, a highly supportive and professional environment, and we are growing in our ability to offer more benefits. Be part of our growth and forward your letter of interest and resume to Hannah Curtis, LCSW at
