Blue Ridge Counseling Center is seeking an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Job Description

Provides counseling to support clients living with mental health and/or behavioral health diagnoses.  Works with families and clients to help encourage the therapeutic process.  Ensures that medically-related, emotional, social, and behavioral needs of the client are met and maintained on an individual basis and  in accordance with the Blue Ridge Counseling Centers policies and procedures, and in accordance with current Federal, State, Local standards,  guidelines, and regulations.  Provider reports directly to the Clinical Supervisor/Director.

Job Requirements:

Provider must demonstrate an ability to engage empathetically with clients while engaging in a high level of ethical practice standards.  Provider must have met the qualifications of their licensure and maintain a valid State of Maine license.

Responsibilities:

Therapist is responsible for the following:

  • Meeting identified productivity for the agency

  • Completing all required paperwork for the treatment of clients

  • Keeping licensing up to date by engaging in what is required to keep the licensure active

  • Attending all required meetings, including but not limited to a monthly supervision meeting

Minimum Qualifications:

Therapist will possess credentials as a LCSW, LMSW cc, LCPC, LCPCcc
